Dimensions: 29”H x 18”W x 14.5”D
Material(s):
The work table was designed for correspondence or needlework, and built to a standard of finish that distinguished it from purely functional pieces. The Regency period produced some of the most refined furniture in the history of English design. This example retains its original fitted upper drawer with divided compartments, satinwood-banded mahogany top, and slender turned legs, all consistent with English craftsmanship of the 1810s.
